Everyone in, around, or from the Midwest know that T.S. Eliot was wrong when he said, “April is the cruelest month”. No, April is the month when I kneel down and hug the Earth because it’s finally decided to stop being like the inside of a walk-in freezer. January is the cruelest month, because really, it’s been two months of cold and we’re still not any closer to warmer temperatures. Here’s hoping this little post featuring a photo I took and a haiku I wrote a few springs ago will help persuade the weather in a warmer direction. It could happen, right?
